Laylak was born in Tripoli in 2017, founded by Sarges Samad, who is passionate about discovering and sharing exceptional food. What began as a family dream quickly became a dining experience rooted in hospitality, beauty, and heart.
His wife, Lara Shamseen, chose the restaurant's name "Laylak" after the lilac flower.

In 2025, Laylak bloomed in Dubai's Business Bay, offering a refined Lebanese and international menu crafted by Chef Paul El Hajj and perfected by Lara's personal touch—including the signature dish, "Lara's Favorite." Family remains at the heart of it all, with creations inspired by their daughters, like "Larissa's Cake."
